Samaria: Carrollton Latino Community
Presently 28% of Carrollton’s residents speak Spanish as their primary language. By 2020, it is expected that this number will be over 33%; this is our Samaria. Our vision for Samaria is to reach the Latino community in Carrollton for Christ. We’ll be doing this by establishing Bent Tree en Espanol.
We want to help the Latino Community in Carrollton experience Life in Christ as well. We’ll be doing this by hiring a Latino Community Pastor, equipping him to establish Grupos de Vida and to develop a leadership base of bilingual volunteers and servants.

- Establishing Grupos de Vida. We desire to help build a core of Latino LifeGroups prior to launching a regular Spanish worship service.
- Offering “Conversation in English” classes led and taught by bilingual Bent Tree servants.
- Launching a monthly Spanish worship service beginning Easter Sunday, April 8, 2012.
