Jerusalem: Bent Tree Carrollton
The body of Bent Tree has a legacy of sacrificing of themselves to allow God to do His work through them. In 1980, we purchased our first piece of land on Midway Road in far North Dallas. In 1994, we purchased 25 acres in Carrollton at our current location. In 1997, we moved into Phase I of our current site. We added education space for kids and adults alike in Phase II (2000) and in 2008, we moved into Phase III, our current campus.
During this time, we have seen thousands in North Texas and around the world experience the abundant Life of Christ. As God has unfolded to us his exciting plan for the future, we clearly hear him telling us to continue to pour into our current body in Carrollton.
What’s Next in Jerusalem?
In January 2012, we paid off the remaining debt for Phase III of our current site. This frees up $700K per year to be reinvested into ministry at Bent Tree. With the debt paid off we are unhindered to begin new initiatives seeing to it that no one misses the grace of God here in Carrollton. One of the first projects we are taking on is to improve our connection process—offering visitors and members alike a very simple way to get connected at Bent Tree.
