Get Involved
The body of Bent Tree has a legacy of sacrificing of themselves to allow God to do His work through them. In 1980, we purchased our first piece of land on Midway Road in far North Dallas. In 1994, we purchased 25 acres in Carrollton at our current location. In 1997, we moved into Phase I of our current site. We added education space for kids and adults alike in Phase II (2000) and in 2008, we moved into Phase III, our current campus.
During this time, we have seen thousands in North Texas and around the world experience the abundant Life of Christ. As God has unfolded to us his exciting plan for the future, we clearly hear him telling us to continue to pour into our current body in Carrollton.
What’s Next in Jerusalem?
The best thing about Project One:Eight is that God has already planted the seeds of ministry in these four areas. In order to help this
ministry grow, we need the Body of Christ at Bent Tree and around the world to get involved. Below are some ways you can get involved:
Pray
Ask God what he would have you do to get involved with Project One:Eight. Maybe it is the giving of your time by helping with administration. Maybe it’s the giving of your talents by helping us identify a site in Frisco for Judea or leading an ESL class for Samaria. Or, maybe it’s giving of your treasure to help us resource the ministry that God is doing in these areas. Either way, our desire is that you earnestly seek God’s will for how to get involved.
Give
Any money given to Project One:Eight will accumulate until the Lord gives us a clear direction on a physical location in Frisco or in our Latino outreach. Please give generously as every penny from this point on will go towards making sure that no one misses the grace of God as we expand our outreach!
Serve
Has God laid on your heart to serve? We want you to be obedient to that call. If you’d like to serve ministry in Jerusalem or Judea, please contact Jim White at jwhite@benttree.org. If you’d like to serve in Samaria, please contact Jim White or Nando Goicochea at nando@benttree.org. If you’d like to serve in the Ends of the Earth, please contact Lori Yeary at lyeary@benttree.org.
